  • Ask higher-ups how and why they are doing well.
  • People love to share how they do well.
  • We all copy role models.







Have Principles
  • Have several important principles, regardless if it makes you popular or not.
  • If it’s right, stick with it.
  • If it’s wrong, change it.
    • But only change it if YOU feel it’s wrong.







Be Prepared
  • Always be prepared for when bad things happen.
    • Bad things will ALWAYS happen.
    • Have relentless preparation.
      • Always plan.
      • Practice for things in life that are important.







Be an Optimist
  • Be an optimist no matter what.
  • Have a sense of humor no matter what.







Debate
  • Always talk to people.
  • Surround yourself with different viewpoints so that you always get a different point of view when making a decision.







Maintain your Individuality!
  • We poll too much.
    • Bandwagon effect.
    • Everyone wants to be part of the majority.


  • Continue to READ books!
    • Build your mind rather than respond instantaneously to random information given by the news, etc.
    • Develop your own ability to think.
      • Read 2 books: 
        1. One for FUN.
        2. One for GROWTH.







Write Things Down
  • Write out pros and cons.
  • Write out what you are thinking.







Think
  • Take time every day to think.







Be Proactive
  • Read
  • Write
  • Question
  • Listen

Stay Proactive






Learn to use Technology
  • To measure productivity.
  • To learn which days or times bring in the most money at work.
  • For billing, communication, etc.
